Short links your AI agent can run

Connect aka.to to Claude and create, brand and measure short links without leaving the conversation. Private analytics, free during launch.

Shorten https://acme.example/blog/spring-launch as acme.aka.to/launch. How did last week’s newsletter link do?

Done. Your link is live:

Our spring launch

acme.example/blog/spring-launch

acme.aka.to/launchaka.to/q7Rk2m

The newsletter link had 1,284 clicks in the last 7 days, up 18% on the week before:

Everything a link shortener does, minus the tracking

Private by design

We never store a visitor’s IP address and set no cookie when someone clicks. Unique visitors come from a fingerprint that rotates every day and differs per link, so nobody, us included, can follow a person across links or days.

Built for agents

Every operation is an MCP tool: create, tag and edit links in bulk, pull stats and breakdowns, or watch for new clicks. Links and charts come back as cards right in the conversation. A REST API covers the rest.

Free during launch

Every feature is free while we launch, with no card to enter. New accounts start with modest limits; verifying your email raises them.

  • Branded slugs at yourteam.aka.to
  • QR codes, PNG or SVG
  • Password-protected links
  • Expiry dates and click caps
  • Countries, referrers and browsers
  • Teams with roles
  • Link previews from the destination
  • Unsafe destinations blocked

  • “Make acme.aka.to/launch point at our announcement post, and expire it on June 1.”
  • “Which countries clicked my newsletter links in the last 7 days?”
  • “Create short links for these 20 URLs and tag them campaign:spring.”

Questions

Is it really free?

Every feature is free during launch. We may introduce paid plans later, and if we do, you will hear from us before anything is charged.

What do you store about the people who click?

The time, an approximate location (country, region, city), the referring page, the browser’s user-agent, and a daily fingerprint for counting unique visitors. Never the IP address, and no cookie. The privacy policy has the full list.

What happens if I pass the monthly click limit?

Your links keep redirecting. We stop counting new clicks until the month resets. Write to support if you need more headroom.

Does it work with my own domain?

Not yet. Every organization gets its own subdomain, like yourteam.aka.to, for branded links.

Do I need an AI agent to use it?

No. The web app does everything the agent can: create links, add branded slugs, and read the analytics.

Something else? Write to support@aka.to, or read the privacy policy.
